TOSRV Dirt

For almost 30 years there has been a double century, 2 day ride located in Southern Georgia and Northern Florida called TOSRV. Well, the good folks that put that event on down there have added a "dirt" option which will take riders on some of the back roads of the area. Here is a brief description I was sent for you to check out here;

"TOSRV Dirt is the off road version of the Capital City Cyclists TOSRV South Double Century Bike Ride.  The off road version brings the same great food and support TOSRV South is so well known for, but with a little more adventure. The route starts in Cairo, GA (home of the Syrupmakers!) and travels to Albany, GA via clay roads that pass through the pecan groves and cotton fields of S. Georgia.  At the end of day one we will camp in Chehaw Park in Albany, have a great dinner and a few adult beverages to celebrate the day. Day two returns to Cairo via a different route.  Each day's ride is approx 75 miles long and approx 75% of the route is on dirt roads. "

So if you want to hit this event up, which will take place on April 20th-21st, then hit there link here.

These are the best clay roads you will every ride. Wind between century old trees, cotton fields, pecan groves and cow pastures. A stray horse or cow is common. Camp at Chehaw or hotel in Albany. The ride of rides!
